ST. LOUIS – University of Missouri-St. Louis senior midfielder Jon Campbell was named to the All-Great Lakes Valley Conference Second Team as announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.

Campbell led the Tritons and the GLVC in goals scored this year with nine while his three game-winning goals were third best in the league and his 18 points were tied for most in the league. He had three multi-goal games this season with two at Trevecca Nazarene (Sept. 8), two more at Rockhurst (Sept. 22) and two at Upper Iowa on Oct. 27.

In GLVC play, Campbell scored six goals which was tied for second in the conference and his 12 points were tied for sixth best in the league.

In addition, senior goalkeeper Austin Reis was named as the team's honoree for the GLVC's James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award. The honorees are student-athletes who have distinguished themselves through sportsmanship and ethical behavior. These individuals must also be in good academic standing and have demonstrated good citizenship outside of the sports-competition setting. The honorees are now eligible to become one of their school's two Spalding Sportsmanship Award winners, which will be announced at the end of the academic year.
