Braedon Stoakes has been named a 2025 D2 Baseball Preseason All-America Third Team selection heading into the season.
Last year, he hit .417 21 of his 65 hits going for extra-bases. He tied UMSL's single season record with nine triples and was 23-for-24 in stolen bases. He had a slugging percentage of .686 and an on-base percentage of .466 in 38 games played. Stoakes also hit six home runs and drove in 39 runs.
He was a first team All-GLVC selection and was a first team D2CCA, NCBWA an ABCA All-Midwest Region selection in 2024.
The Tritons open their 2025 season this Friday (Jan. 31) at the Central Oklahoma First Pitch Classic against Central Oklahoma at 4 p.m. at Wendall Simmons Field in Edmond, Okla.
